This is a wonderfully smooth, syrup-like coffee with milk chocolate tones which holds up well with any meal. These beans have been roasted medium-dark and are certified organic and fair-trade.
Sumatra is the largest island in Indonesian. These beans were grown in the Gayo region. Named for the ethnic group Gayonese, most of these beans are grown in very remote villages by widows who lost their husbands during the many violent conflicts.
